Apologies for this being a little late! I hoped to post it last week but have just been really busy with clients and haven't had the chance to properly sit down and write, even writing this now I'm still bouncing between projects and just taking a quick break to fit this in!

I've rarely had chance to work on personal projects over the last few weeks but always try to be working on something of my own. So I've got a character to share with you today that I recently finished.

I've been working on an idea to create warrior characters who have armor/weapons based on animals, it's something I'm hoping to develop more next year. But for now, this guy is an idea for the bear warrior! This was more of an experiment to play around with digitally colouring traditionally inked lines (as I usually line work digitally) but I'm planning on creating some character sheets for this guy so you'll be able to see more of his armor etc.

This first image is to show my initial scanned in inked lines.

As you can see below, after some cleaning up in Photoshop the lines look much better!

This illustration took me quite a while to complete, not just because of other projects but because it took me a while to work out how to make it look right and get the colours how I wanted, but I think now it's finished it looks pretty nice!

And for an extra treat, here's what I'll be working on next!

This will probably be my last post before Christmas and maybe the new year now, so have an awesome Christmas and New Year, I'll see you in 2016!
