New Website! & Video!

First up, welcome to the new site! It's been a year since I last gave my website a new look and months since I uploaded anything new, so thanks to everyone who has popped by old and new and I hope you like the new look!

So, a little bit about the new layout. I've been wanting a Parallax scrolling site for quite a while now, I spent quite a bit of time researching on how to go about it and the best templates that were available, thankfully Squarespace was there to deliver again and I'm more than happy to stick with them. I think now my site is a little more unique, if you want to just have a quick flick through, everything is there on the homepage, there is links to everything on the site and a little sneak peek of what each page contains. If you have more time on your hands however and want to have a good nosey, there's plenty of places to look too!

I'm pretty happy with it, there's a couple of things that may need tweaking in the long run the more I look at the site, but everything is pretty much how I wanted it! I'll also be adding more pages and content in the future including a store which will be separate from the Monster Trunk store, so keep an eye out for that!

I've also been spending some time trying to figure out where I'd like to go next with my work. So I have quite a few personal projects developing, which I'll be sharing more of in the next month or so, but I also decided to start recording my process more, because I love to watch process videos myself, and love making my own. So here is a new one below of a recent creature creation!

I think this one is a little longer than I would've liked, but I'm still getting used to the editing process so I aim to work more on that in the future. I'm going to try and upload a video every 6 weeks or so, if you'd like to keep up to date with those then please subscribe on Youtube! Below is the actual finished version of the raptor too!

Now that I've got my website back up and prepared my next few months of organisation and projects I'll be getting back into my previous schedule of writing a post a week on here, some of those may be on the Monster Trunk blog thought but I'll be sure to share on Twitter!
